So I went over to Pretoria after Jozi. Much quieter town, but still a lot of history here. The first stop was Freedom Park. They did a really good job with this. For this private tour I used Hedone Afrika Travel and Leisure, Lesiba Fonthane(owner). He did an excellent job!


Wall of names: This is dedicated to all the people- from around the world- that have fought in various wars and conflicts for freedom. The first picture as we parked just happened to be Bennett! They have them seperated as you can see: Wars of resistance, Slavery, Genocide etc. They even have blank spots as we all know it will probably never end...



Below is the Train station which is still functioning. Some of you will remember I wanted to take the Blue Train- it departs from here. And top right is oldest hotel in South Africa- also still open.
