This was a full day tour so we went to Johannesburg after Soweto. I loved the vibe of this city. It's a lot bigger than I thought too. And I love street art, and I found some really cool art too. Tasted some good food-overall great day!
Taking the bus around town. It's a lot more western than I expected. This is from the more affluent part of town. This is where Mandela lived when he died. The tree's and wall were too high to see it.(Third picture from the bottom on the left)
Bottom right is Gold Reef City Theme Park. It has Theme park with rides, Hotel, restaurants, Trampoline, shopping and it's right across the street from the Apartheid Museum.
Street art and the neighborhood: Maboneng- they are trying to revitalize this area which is right next to CBD(downtown). Very nice area with tons of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shopping etc. Cool vibe.
