I got to Langkawi on Monday afternoon. Booked a hotel on the beach and treated myself to lobster dinner- absolutely delicious.
The next day I did the island hopping tour. First stop, bat cave, and of course there are monkey's everywhere.
Then the boat took us to a floating seafood restaurant for lunch.
Huge Lobster, stingray and tiger shell.
Really pretty in the mangroves. The picture on the upper left, top left corner you can see the monkey that jumped in the water and followed us. I had no idea they were such prolific swimmers!
Then we headed to the island where they filmed Crazy Rich Asians.
I enjoyed Langkawi. Much, much cooler that KL. These pics are from Kuala Terengganu. It's right on the river and that's the entry, Turtle Alley, some street art and the coffee and dessert(Banana Crepe) that I got while exploring. Not a lot going on here, but I took the time to relax and get ready for the next leg of my adventure- Africa! I leave Saturday morning!
