After a few delays I finally made it to Japan! I'm here for 10 days, then I come back for 3 weeks this spring. I had no idea Japan was so tropical and lush. I know it's a group of islands, I just wasn't expecting this-even in the winter when it's raining. The rain is supposed to stop later this week so I should be able to explore. I have no desire to traipse around in the rain and risk getting sick. I took some pictures and a quick video as I was driving to the market. Quick note, I'm new to this. The videos will get better as I do more.
Driving here is really laid back-yay! I still have to remind myself to drive on the left-lol!
I toured the Stalactite Limestone Cave too. That's an underground cave was once the sea floor(About 3.2km long). It was quite humid down there, but cool. I figured this was a good thing to do in the rain.
